Ben Shapiro married his long-time girlfriend, Dr. Mor Toledano, in 2008. He is a father of two children, a daughter Leeya and a son. Ben Shapiro along with his family practices Orthodox Judaism. Ben Shapiro’s career as an attorney took off after he graduated from the Harvard School of law. He began working at the law firm Goodwin Procter. Ben Shapiro has held a keen interest in politics since his High School days. He went on to become the youngest syndicated columnist nationally when he was only 17 years old.

He published his first book on how American universities are brainwashing their students, in 2004. He stated that the liberal; American universities can easily influence those students who do not have strong opinions. He published his second book in 2005 where he argued about how social liberalism is manipulating the American youth.

Ben Shapiro has been caught in several controversies due to his views on abortion pain, LGBT, and gun-ownership rules. He published another book in 2008 where he claimed that personal appearance plays an enormous role in Presidential candidacy. He also spoke about how the former American President, Barack Obama, misused his power.

He took a post at the David Horowitz Freedom Center in 2011 which largely revolves around promoting controversial ideas. He began hosting his political podcast show, The Ben Shapiro Show, which became very popular and has more than 10 million downloads monthly since November 2017. However, he got into trouble with his show’s producers after he released some controversial statements. Several of the sponsors withdrew their support from his political show.

He began hosting The Ben Shapiro Election Special in September of 2018. He is also a guest lecturer at several colleges where he often teaches regarding controversial topics. A strong supporter of the abortion ban, Ben Shapiro spoke against it at the March for life which took place in Washinton 2019. Following his controversial statement, several sponsors withdrew their support from his podcast show. Among his many controversial views, his claims that the transgender community is mentally ill have been heavily criticized. In several instances, Ben Shapiro has also voiced his troublesome thoughts regarding the Muslim community.

After Facebook changed its algorithm which drove traffic away from conservative sites, Ben Shapiro accused Facebook of deliberate prejudice against the Conservative sites. Although his views are largely controversial, the fact remains that Ben Shapiro is a highly disciplined man. He has always remained true to his views.
