Kevin Hart was born on July 6, 1979, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Even though his mother was his sole breadwinner and support in life, thanks to her steady job as a system analyst at the University of Pennsylvania, his father was missing in action as he was addicted to cocaine and was jailed many times during Kevin Hart’s childhood. Kevin completed his high school education at George Washington High School and then decided to move to New York City to focus more on his career development in the comedy niche. Luck didn’t quite help him as he was unable to find any opportunities in New York City, which is why he decided to move again to Brockton, Massachusetts to save up enough to move to LA. There, he started working as a shoe salesman.
